Thoughts

It gets harder as time goes by. I feel blessed for having you in my life. You was kind and loved everybody young and old. It was a real pleasure to spend 6 years with you. Everyone said how lucky you was but it was a mutual luck. Just wish I could have helped you stop. I think about you everyday. Hope you are peace and with your lovely Mum xxx love you always

I really wanted to speak at your funeral, if I had would have gone a lot like this. I first met Warren when I was 14 I banged on the blue side door of the bakery and asked for a Saturday job, that was the beginning of a 16 year friendship and when I was first exposed to his kind giving nature. Warren taught me a lot throughout my life, he taught me to stay focused, never give up and work hard. I was lucky enough to have him pretty much raise me from the age of 15 as we spent so much time together, he taught me a trade which then was a baker but I never knew then the qualities he installed in me would stay with me forever and make me the person I am today. If I was to explain Warren as a person I would say, A kind, loving popular soul who absolutely adored his family. I think his kids should be proud of who he was as I don`t know a single soul who literally left a positive impact on every person he met! Warren always wanted what was best for his children hence the reason he let his dearly loved daughter go to Australia as he felt he was not a good enough Dad, he wanted her to have the best possible life and not a day went by when Warren didn`t tell me how much he missed her. Warren loved his other two boys dearly, he often told me their Mum was the best and he deeply regretted leaving her- if you look at the spiral in his life this is where it began. A lot of people have said to me in the past - Warren had it all, money, cars, casinos and he threw it away, family enough few of those people were at his funeral, because Warrens real friends knew it was never about money and he always told me it was the root of all evil. Warren was not materialistic, he had a big heart made some mistakes and unfortunately paid the ultimate price. I hope he finds peace now and God rest his soul and I am blessed to have had such a positive influence in my life these past 15 years and I am forever in his debt. I love you Warren Dan
